Vels Films Unveils Its 2025–2027 Slate

Vels Film International, one of Chennai's most prolific production houses, unveiled a multi-year slate covering 2025 through 2027. The announcement listed projects with Dhanush, Nayanthara and other A-list collaborators — and confirmed Arunraja Kamaraj among the directors on the plan.

The line-up positions Vels as a banner willing to commit across genres and language markets, betting on filmmakers known for both commercial reach and substantive storytelling. For Arunraja Kamaraj, a Vels-backed project means access to a production engine that has the scale to mount larger-canvas films than his earlier work.

The slate has not yet been broken down into individual title-and-release sheets. What it does signal is direction: Vels intends to keep its post-2024 pipeline stocked with multiple high-profile features, and Arunraja Kamaraj's continued presence among the named directors is a sign of where the banner sees him in the next generation of Tamil filmmakers.
